Recipedia
Recipedia is a web abb that allows you to find recipes online, and an opportunity to create and save your own. The application shows the recipes including the ingredients of the user's selection. The project has been created over a period of 2 weeks, with no previous experience with Firebase or React - very proud of the outcome.
IOBook
A clone of the Facebook web app was created over 2 weeks as a group project which facilitated our first interaction with a framework. Self-study time was required in order to gain an understanding of Ruby on Rails and organise the project most efficiently.
MakersBnB
The project is a mock version of Airbnb. It was our first group project during Makers Academy course.
Murder She Note
Fun project for creating notes built with JavaScript.

About Me
Who am I?
I am Boris and I have recently graduated from Makers Academy. Before I dive into the ocean of the coding world I was in the Horticulture business for over 7 years. I had the great opportunity to use my knowledge from my Ecology and Environment Protection background and I managed to run two projects.
Why Software Engineering?
Long story short, during the pandemic, I had the chance to reevaluate where I want to be in the next 5 to 10 years. I was going by the flow and the time was flying, I needed a change. A friend of mine recommended coding. After a few weeks of typing the simplest commands, I realized that I am enjoying it.
